Nora: World Health Day

This year, on April 7th, the World Health Organization, or ‘WHO’, celebrates the World Health Day’s 75th Anniversary.

In 1948, countries from around the world came together to create the WHO. An organization built to promote good health, keep the world safe, and serve the vulnerable. It was made to ensure that everyone, everywhere, could attain the highest level of health and well-being possible.

This holiday is an opportunity to look back at public health successes that have helped improve global well-being since the WHO was founded. It’s also a chance to inspire action, to help tackle the health challenges of today and tomorrow.
