越來越多外國人士在台工作甚至選擇定居，金融監督管理委員會為響應2030雙語國家政策，自2019年起推動各銀行設置雙語示範分行，提升員工英語能力以提供外國人友善金融服務環境，目前國內已有18家銀行設置共172家示範分行，設有第一線雙語服務櫃檯，提供外籍客戶全方位的業務諮詢。 國發會龔明鑫主委及游建華副主委也於去(2020)年分別前往全台示範分行視察，實地瞭解各地雙語示範分行之推展情形。 目前設置外語示範分行包括有第一、合作金庫、 兆豐、華南、臺企銀、彰銀、土銀、台銀、玉山、中信、台北富邦、台中、上海、花旗、星展、永豐、台新及新光等18家銀行，再也不用擔心進銀行有語言的隔閡囉！ Promoting friendly bilingual bank services in support of the government's Bilingual Nation 2030 policy, the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) is encouraging banks to set up pilot bilingual branches, helping employees improve their English ability and creating service environments that are conducive to the provision of bilingual financial services. Bilingual branches offer services in both Mandarin and English. Customers can find signs, application forms and ATM services in both languages. Another convenient option is for customers to use online bilingual financial services to complete transactions. Additionally, in queuing systems both languages are supported. The following 18 banks have set up at least one bilingual branch: • Mega International Commercial Bank • DBS Bank Taiwan • CTBC Bank • First Commercial Bank • Bank of Taiwan • Land Bank of Taiwan • Taiwan Cooperative Bank • Hua Nan Bank • Chang Hwa Bank • The Shanghai Commercial & Savings Bank • Taipei Fubon Commercial Bank • Citibank Taiwan • Taiwan Business Bank • Taichung Bank • E. Sun Bank • Bank SinoPac • Taishin Bank • Shin Kong Commercial Bank Last year, the FSC arranged visits to several bilingual branches around Taiwan together with the Minister of National Development Ming-Hsin Kung and Deputy Minister Chien-Hwa Yu in order to drive the momentum of bilingualization of the banking industry. With a cooperative effort from the public and private sectors, bilingual branches aim to create a positive and friendly financial environment for foreigners in Taiwan and truly show the determination of the government to become a Bilingual Nation by 2030.
