臺灣四面環海，但你對海洋的了解有多少呢？ 為了整合這得天獨厚的海洋資源，並發展海洋事務 海洋委員會在上個月提出了臺灣首部「國家海洋政策白皮書」 　　 行政院也將推出一系列「向海致敬」政策，鼓勵大家「知海、近海、進海」 在推廣海洋政策的同時，雙語化當然也是讓臺灣走向海外的必要過程啦～ 　　 1.辦理海洋相關論壇與研討會 與AIT合作辦理「2020海洋青年論壇」，學生全程以英語發表海洋相關提案，落實雙語政策並提升全民愛海意識 　　 2.增進國際組織參與，並培育國際海洋法政領域溝通及談判人才 積極參與國際組織、國際論壇與研討會等交流，並在回國後適時以雙語分享會議內容 　　 3.研究計畫案成果雙語化 海洋委員會的研究範圍包羅萬象～包含了海洋安全、保育、科研、產業…等，針對這些研究成果提供雙語化摘要，推動民眾的海洋意識也與國際接軌！ 　　 4.文宣、出版品、諮詢服務手冊雙語化 發行「國際海洋雙月刊」，推廣國際海洋政策、產業時事、國際法規等報導，也分享台灣經驗，幫助臺灣國際行銷 　　 雙語編碎碎念 夏天戲水別忘了安全第一唷！ 讓我們一起帶著敬意探索海洋、永續運用海洋資源，創造臺灣的大航海時代！ 　　 Taiwan is an island, and that makes marine issues very important. To consolidate marine resources and develop marine affairs, the Ocean Affairs Council last month released Taiwan’s first ever National Marine Policy White Paper. The Executive Yuan will also put forward a series of policies dealing with the sea, so people better understand and engage with the ocean. Of course, this all needs to be done bilingually! 　　 1.Marine Forums and Seminars The OAC and AIT held the 2020 Marine Youth Forum, which let students make marine proposals in English 　　 2.Increasing Participation in Int’l Organizations and Cultivating Talent in Int’l Law of the Sea The OAC actively participates in international organizations, forums, and seminars, and makes bilingual reports on the contents 　　 3.Bilingual Research Results The OAC’s research covers many fields, like maritime safety, conservation, and development. The results of this research is published bilingually, helping spur interest among the public and connecting with the international community. 　　 4.Bilingual Materials, Publications, and Service Manual The OAC published International Ocean Information bimonthly with reports on promoting international marine policies, industry current affairs, and international regulations, as well as sharing Taiwan’s experience and promoting Taiwan abroad.
