Welcome to "Art and Urban Symbiosis: Taipei’s Renaissance Journey." This course will take you on an exploration of Taipei, a vibrant city of arts. We will get an in-depth look at various art forms, from traditional wood carving to avant-garde installation art.

This course will introduce how Taipei blends diverse cultures to create a unique art ecosystem. Through the perspectives of artists, curators, and architects, we will understand how Taipei has risen as a key art hub in Asia in the 21st century, and how art profoundly shapes the city’s landscape and the daily lives of its citizens.
