2026高雄城市書展以 Reading Commons 為策展主題，串聯書店 × 書市 × 圖書館，打造全民共享的閱讀聚落，讓閱讀走進城市，也走進生活。
「護你愛讀冊」，代表圖書館、獨立書店與閱讀社群，共同守護每一個人愛讀冊的熱情；因為閱讀被守護，每位讀者都能拓展視野、理解世界，勇敢前行。
▸精彩講座｜跨域對話．共創觀點
邀集文學、藝術、設計、電影、教育等跨域創作者，以講座、沙龍與國際交流，打造城市公共思考場域，讓不同觀點在閱讀中相遇。
▸港灣書市｜閱讀選物．城市聚落
集結全臺獨立書店、出版品牌及高雄藝文館舍，共同展現多元閱讀風景，讓每一間書店成為一種生活提案，每一本書都是通往世界的一扇窗。
▸特別企劃｜閱讀跨界．感知生活
結合故事、電影、音樂、表演與飲食，打造多感官閱讀體驗，讓閱讀跨越文字，成為城市共享的文化日常。

In September, We Gather in Kaohsiung Through Reading
Reading is one of the gentlest forces that shapes a city.
Under the curatorial theme Reading Commons, the 2026 Kaohsiung City Book Fair brings together bookstores, book markets, and libraries to create a shared community of reading for all—bringing books into the city and reading into everyday life.
“Guarding the Love of Reading” embodies the shared commitment of libraries, independent bookstores, and reading communities to nurture everyone’s passion for books. When the joy of reading is cherished and sustained, every reader is empowered to broaden their horizons, better understand the world, and move forward with confidence.

Writers and creators from literature, art, design, film, education, and beyond come together through talks, salons, and international exchanges. These encounters transform the city into an open forum for ideas, where diverse perspectives meet through reading.

Independent bookstores and publishers from across Taiwan join Kaohsiung’s arts and cultural institutions to present a vibrant landscape of reading. Each bookstore offers a unique vision of life, and every book opens a window to the world.

Blending storytelling, film, music, performance, and food, these programs create a multisensory experience of reading—taking it beyond the written word and making it part of the city’s shared cultural life.
