【Features】
Describing personalities using animals is both vivid and easy to understand! Which animals would you use to describe yourself? For example: as fierce as a tiger, as quick as a rabbit, or as mischievous as a little monkey... However, American illustrator Michael Hall believes that we are more than just one kind of animal—in fact, there is an entire zoo living inside our hearts!
Is that true? Come and read the picture book “My Heart Is Like a Zoo” with us! See how the author uses clever, fun vivid metaphors and creative collage-style illustrations to showcase this vibrant, lively zoo.
While we read together, think about this: What animals live inside your heart and mine? When do they usually show up? Afterward, the instructor will guide everyone to handcraft a simple mini-book, bringing these inner animals to life on paper and creating a zoo that is uniquely yours!
